This policy explains which personal data the website GreeceCalendar (greececalendar.online) processes when you visit it, and which rights you have under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR, Regulation (EU) 2016/679) and Greek Law 4624/2019.
Controller
The controller is the operator of GreeceCalendar. For anything concerning your data, write to support@greececalendar.online.
In short
- You do not need an account and we never ask for your name or email to use the site.
- The calculators and planners run entirely in your browser: the dates and numbers you enter are not sent to us.
- Visits are counted with Statable, a cookieless service hosted in the EU.
- Ads are served by Google AdSense; in Europe, personalised ads are shown only after you consent in Google's consent message, which you can change at any time via "Cookie settings" in the footer.
- We do not sell personal data.
What we process
Server logs
The site is hosted by OVHcloud (OVH SAS, Roubaix, France) on servers in the European Union. Like every web server, the platform records technical data for each request — IP address, date and time, requested page, browser type and referrer — to run the service securely and to diagnose errors. Legal basis: our legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR). Logs are kept for a short period defined by the hosting provider and then deleted.
Visitor statistics (Statable)
To know which pages are useful we count visits with Statable, a cookieless analytics service hosted in the Netherlands. Statable sets no cookies and stores nothing on your device. It records the page, the referrer, browser, operating system and device type, screen size, language, country, visit duration and scroll depth. Your IP address is used only to derive the country and a visitor identifier that changes every day, and is not stored. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in improving the site (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Advertising (Google AdSense)
We show ads served by Google AdSense (Google Ireland Ltd.). Google and its certified partners may use cookies and similar technologies to show and measure ads. For visitors in the EEA, the UK and Switzerland, personalised advertising requires your consent, which Google asks for in its consent message when you first visit; without consent only non-personalised ads are shown. You can review or withdraw your choice at any time with "Cookie settings" in the footer. How Google uses data from sites that use its services is described at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.
Downloads, calendar links and external sites
PDF and ICS files are generated on our server from public data; downloading them sends a normal web request. "Add to Google Calendar" opens Google Calendar, and links to Greek Name Days, Simple Invoice, legal databases and news sources open those websites, each with its own privacy policy. We record only that a link type was clicked (for example "PDF download"), never which person clicked it.
If you write to us, we process your email address and message to answer you, on the basis of our legitimate interest and, where relevant, your request (Article 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR). Messages are deleted when they are no longer needed.
Cookies
The site itself sets no cookies. Google AdSense sets cookies only after your consent in Europe. Details are in the cookie policy.
Your rights
You have the right to access, rectify and erase your data, to restrict or object to processing, to data portability and to withdraw consent at any time without affecting the lawfulness of earlier processing. To exercise them, email support@greececalendar.online. You can also lodge a complaint with the Hellenic Data Protection Authority (dpa.gr) or the supervisory authority of your country.
Changes
We update this policy whenever a tool, analytics service or advertising partner is added or removed. The date of the last change is shown at the top of the page.
Change or withdraw your consent for personalised ads at any time.
