What changes on the day
- Trains, ferries and flights run on the new time; a departure at 03:30 on the night of the spring change does not exist.
- Shift workers paid by the hour work one hour less in March and one hour more in October.
- Sunrise and sunset move by an hour: in late October it gets dark around 17:30 in Athens.
