About the holiday

The feast of Saints Basil the Great, Gregory the Theologian and John Chrysostom is the patronal day of Greek education. Since 2020 schools no longer close: lessons take place normally, usually with a two-hour celebration and, in some schools, a church service in the first hours. It is a working day for everyone else.
